All due respect, the SEC and B1G are not just regional

Look, the Yankees and Red Sox don't get on television just because they're in New York and Boston. They get on television because both (compared to most other MLB teams) draw national interest.

Ohio State is going to draw viewers in Phoenix. Alabama is going to draw viewers in Chicago.

If the nonsense about number of television sets within the conference footprint mattered, lots of things would be different.
