Long usually doesn't mean keeping all facilities


I had a friend who watched 1 parent take 5 years to die. They suffered. Then the other parent did the same. Friend has not been the same since (15 years ago).

My mom was diagnosed with cancer, then enrolled in Hospice one day later. She died the next say. She knew, and I think we all knew that day was coming. That was very peaceful, and on her last day we laughed and told stories that should have had us all locked up. She died while my sis was writing a thank you note to the pastor who officiated my dad's funeral a month earlier..
