I watched my best friend die slowly last year at 42 y/o. His mind was there

Until the end, it had its good points, one more year with his 2 sons under the age of ten, his wife, his family, & friends.

It had its negitives too. He was bed ridden the last 5 months. It was very hard for ppl that loved him watch him slowly die and he was in pain. I drove from Tampa to Chapel Hill when his wife called me to say he only had a couple days left. His mind was there and he was making plans to go to the beach with me. His body was gone. 6'2 and 91 lbs.

My cousin died from cancer the way you decribed 4 years ago.

I don't know if there is a right choice they both suck.
