I wonder if it’s time for the ACC and Big XII to cut their losses….


and join together as a new conference (Big America Conference). ACC would have to break away from the small private schools and city schools. This conference would have 14 large state universities with 2 private schools in TCU and Baylor and add Colorado State as the one new school not associated with the ACC or BigXII. This conference would still be 2nd fiddle to the SEC and Big Ten but it would have more clout with bigger named state schools. Each division would have 7 games a season within their division plus 2 game with the cross division every year. The rivalries will still stay rich within their respective divisions and you get a chance to play schools you normally wouldn’t play in a 4 year cycle. Then the Big America championship game can be played in Charlotte on even years and Dallas on odd years.
