I don't watch any sporting event live anymore since I switched to a streaming service. There you go again being the silly one for reaching a conclusion based on no evidence.

It is more than obvious that my statement was directed specifically to the Costa Rica game. To try to apply it to the other games ignores the circumstances leading up to those games including any differences that may exist between the circumstances. For example, a team's goal going into a home game is often to earn 3 points. As a result, the team may be more aggressive from the start because it wants to be the team to set the pace of the game. Whereas, a team's goal going into an away game is often to earn at least 1 point. As a result, the team may not be as aggressive as it normally would if the game was at home particularly if the team has difficulty winning games in opponent's stadium. Even those circumstances could change over time if the team finds itself in a "must win" or "must tie" situation in order to achieve a certain goal.
