Your exact statement was "if the US was truly trying to win the game, then it should have had somewhere between 20-30 shots." By that logic, they weren't trying in ANY WCQ match. If you don't see the absurdity in your own words, I can't help you. Shots aren't the only factor in a soccer match. The number of corners show they were being aggressors.
