I will never be upset about qualifying with the youngest 11 in WC history


It's really, REALLY hard to dominate consistently against a low block counter attacking team on crappy fields who foul on any and every half chance. There are many examples of vastly under-talented teams beating world powers playing counter-attacking soccer (aka every previous USA world cup match).

There's a reason the US looks a lot better against Mexico and it's because they don't pack it in. These kids all play in Europe, they're not used to fighting in the mud for a result against 11 guys who would rather the game end 0-0 than try to win 1-0 because a result against the US is good no matter what.
