Plus, the number of corner kicks doesn't necessarily indicate a team is the aggressor because that stat can be misleading. It isn't uncommon to see the corner kick stat inflated because a team is trying to milk the clock. I have even seen a few club teams start to milk the clock as early as 10 or 15 minutes left in the game because they wanted to sit on their lead. If the majority of the corner kicks occurred while the team was trying to milk the clock, then most people would agree that team wasn't as aggressive as the corner kick stat would suggest. While shots (on and off target) gives a better indication on how aggressive a team is or isn't in a particular game.
