The next round of TV deals .......

will be interesting to watch. The SEC got a big push both from UT/OU and the fact ESPN paid to buy the 3:30 CBS timeslot. The next round will give more of an indication where television and other rights deals are going. Most projections are for increases but, the actual numbers (ratings/eyeballs) would not appear to support huge increases and that is even before considering some of the other uncertainties surrounding the collegiate athletic landscape. Maybe it continues to go up but, margins are getting tighter all the time and inevitably the bubble will burst.
