For all the bad in the NCAA they do some good thing well. One is sponsoring national tournaments. These events cost money and many lose money. Division 3 and Division 2 championships particularly . That includes funding for teams ot participate in post season play, as well as renting the venue, officials etc. Everything from swimming, to track to lacrosse. Student athletes get a wonder opportunity to participate. Teams like St Peters could not afford to go without NCAA funding.

Do you realize how much it costs for renting a venue??? do you realize how much it takes for a team to travel and this air travel so they can also attend regular academics.

This is about collegiate sports community and all in it together. IT is not a business enterprise. yes NCAA needs som regiorous reorganization, however, there is alot of goodness there.
