Couple things...


1) Bowlsby is lost. He was all "wait just the bleep bleep minute" when he got blind sided on the UT/OU deal. Then he regrouped to look at it from the G5 perspective now that his flagship programs are leaving. So now he wants it expanded, but for completely different reasons; and he finds himself on the wrong committee to make that happen. All he can do right now is squawk to whomever will write about it to make it look like he's busy.

2) Sankey is lying. He is not satisfied with four; two bids is not enough to keep his numerous overly-entitled clients happy. Heck, all four might not be enough. If he is talking about the future of the playoffs, it might be because his other committee isn't going where he wants.

BTW, either that group hasn't met since Feb 7-8, or they are delinquent in posting their minutes.
