Good point. But many of these athletes put in a heck of a lot of training

in high school and even earlier to prepared for this. The training is fare more in depth at the prep level than it was back in the day. Many players today are ready to get paid at 18. There is also big risks of injury that other professions don't have. And there is also a much smaller career/money making window,
