So the student/athlete reverses to athlete/student.

I guess in your employee scenario the players theoretically don't even have to be students. They are employed by the LLC to just play (insert sport here).

Boy, talk about a turnoff for most fans of a university. That might take us back to the days of students playing just for fun with no scholarships or money involved and IMO that would not be a bad thing.
