...balanced and still not be a good league. Winning conference games is hard, especially on the road. The level of familiarity teams have and the variables that play into it make it much harder than people on the outside ever understand - that is why being in a league that performs at a high level on the whole is usually such an advantage. You can suffer losses that don't make sense on paper and have off nights and still have plenty of chances to set yourself up to make the tournament. In the ACC this year those chances just don't exist.
