A competent forward is #1 on the list, that's our biggest weakness

We don't have anyone right now who has proven they can fill the Aluma role. We'll be better on the perimeter next year but MY's system needs guys who are really good screeners and can crash the boards and finish on dumpoffs. DNG can't fill that role and so far Ojiako is just too slow and Kidd too out of control.

MJ Collins is 6'5, Maddox is 6'5, and Rice is 6'4 so we're not going to be as small on the perimeter as we have been. It's painfully obvious how much more effective Maddox is contesting shots and on the boards than Cattoor and Alleyne.

A lineup of a stronger Aluma-Maddox-Cattoor-Rice-Pedulla is like a poor man's version of the Villanova 4 out system that won them 2 titles in the teens. We can win that way with more talent and athleticism on the outside which we've been lacking (Cattoor, Storm, and Alleyne are subpar at best athletes)
