I don't view Wessler as a project like those guys were


What I mean by that is Wessler is very polished player on the offensive end with a true back to the basket game, he can hit perimeter shots but I doubt we see much of that at VT.

He needs to work on his footspeed for sure, but he'll be able to contribute day 1 on the offensive end of the court and he's not going to be a guy where the game moves too fast for him.

All 3 of those guys you mentioned were basically unknown recruits who had size. Wessler is a high major recruit that has a traditional low post game already which is the 2nd biggest weakness we've had historically if you view lack of true wings as #1.
