So many wrong things and failed to do any right things over the last six months that led to these horrible events today.

2008 and 2014 precedents were completely ignored. Putin was emboldened by US energy decommissioning and Russian sourcing. We’ll keep it low and say 600k barrels a day. That’s $180 MILLION going into Putin’s war strategy every month. He held off a month to ensure he’d bring in AT LEAST another $180 MILLION - even as gas prices went up.

Feckless could have sent 1x Airborne BCT overnight to Kyiv before all of this started and Russia would not have invaded. Hell, they could have left all of their rifles, ammo, IFAKs, uniforms behind if they had to leave when the invasion started. So many things should have been done. Sanctions now to me is just a sick CYA joke for these people to try and say all of this death and destruction is not our fault.

Exxon and Shell knew about Ukr massive energy reserves 20 years ago. Obama could have stopped the invasion of Crimea long before. As caustic as Trump was for so many people, he DID stop Russian aggression. None of this NATO encroachment bullshit was mentioned at all during the previous four years. If it had been, the media would have supported Putin just to spite trump. It would have been 2017 front page news- especially given all of the collusion bullsh. Makes me sick. I have to get back to work. This is all useless.
