Biden said the sanctions will make the Russians stand up to Putin. How did that work out for the now close to 9,000 Russians that have been locked up for standing on the street in St. Petersburg with signs?!

Putin doesn’t give 2 Rubles about the sanctions or what happens to everyday Russians. He LOVES that shit. I seriously ask this- at what point do we Americans (and congress, which is insane too) say this is ridiculous? None of this is doing anything to stop conflict in the Ukr?

Has OSD or CIA Russia Desk not thought at all about the long term ramifications of destroying the lives of all of the Russians who hate Putin and this conflict?!? I just don’t get it. And I ask my friends who are CA or PSYOPs whose job it is to shape perception and it’s all the same response that I cannot mention here.
