Where you get power from the storage outlet, there are 2 scenarios.

If it is the end of the run - meaning, it has just one wire coming to it (one black, one white, one neutral), just add your new "feed" line to the outlet with the black and white, but disconnect the neutral, add a pigtail, twist the 3 neutrals together and cap with a red wire nut, and then put the pigtail in the proper spot on the outlet.

If the outlet already has 2 wires connected to it (meaning 2 romex cables - 2 whites, 2 blacks, 2 grounds) Disconnect them all from the outlet, then twist the 2 old together with the new feed to the switch according to color, along with an additonal THREE pigtails. The 3 pigtails would then go to their proper places on the outlet. Use a red wire nut for the splices.
