So, this anti-ND rhetoric is all about "optics", then?

Gotcha. A noble cause, indeed.

If it is just about "optics", as you say, then ND staying independent will not "destroy college football as we know it" like the other poster above claimed, right?

(Its all about money, its all about re-opening a very bad ACC contract by ND's sacrifice of independence so that ESPN will let the ACC out of the current idiotic contract it willingly signed and pay it more money)

Proof of ND fans viewpoint?

ND is still an independent despite everything that has happened the past twenty five years, the statements and polls of ND fans about independence online at every ND site, how much they complained about 2020's ACC membership year, there is little public sentiment ever among ND fans to join a conference, my interactions with ND fans for 60 years, etc..etc.

What proof do you have that most ND fans do not think like I posted and are breathlessly hoping ND football joins the ACC ??
