When it comes to recruiting there is only 1 rule that really matters;
"The Rule of Thirds." The Rule of Thirds state that 1/3 of recruits in a class will exceed expectations, 1/3 of recruits in a class will meet expectations, and 1/3 of recruits will not meet expectations. It doesn't matter if a recruit is rated a 1 star or 5 stars.
Regardless whether a recruit is 1 star or 5 stars, the coaching staff will still need to develop said recruit. Now the development for a 1-star recruit will be different than a 5-star recruit, but that is okay because 1 mold doesn't fit all. The 1-star needs to be coached up so he is playing like a 3-star recruit. Whereas the 5-star recruit needs to be taught to push himself and develop a work ethic that separates him from the other 5-star recruits he plays against in a game because it is likely things came really easy for him in HS so he never needed to develop a worth ethic.
