The SEC and other power conference schools can think the world revolves

around them all they want. However, I can guarantee you that you won't see the remaining DI, DII, and DIII conferences shut down their athletic programs if the power conferences decide to take all their "fun toys" and go play in a different sandbox. The fact that DII, DIII, NAIA DI, and NAIA DII sponsor at least 15 sports now and they can live outside the spotlight proves my point. Note I said sponsor at the division level, not that every school within said division sponsors all the sports available to them. Regardless of what the power conferences decide to do, I am fairly confident that the remaining schools will continue to function with a business as usual mentality.
