telll the SEC, and the other Power 5, who generate the 'brand rights' that generate the huge TV rights for NCAA basketball tourney.

THe Power 5 schools have almost had it with the NCAA telling them how the manage their 300 plus athletic debts, in the same way some div 3 program. They have the $$ and resources to jump and create their own association and many really dont care if they separate.

HOWEVER,

most power 5 schools want to work within the NCAA construct and see, no matter how dysfunctional, the good and value of the NCAA to the student athlete. I know this sounds like platitudes but that is true... I'm just hoping most with more rational minds can create a win win situation for the power 5 schools and for the rest.
