My house sits on a similar intersection in my neighborhood. A bus stop is

at the intersection too.
Over the years, I have seen folks go down the street and not stop. The bus drivers go nuts and blow the horn and I've seen them go after the cars. I assume the law requires folks to stop, but many don't. It's really a safety issue when the bus is unloading, rather than in the morning. Because kids go flying off the bus and run around the front of the bus.

My wife blew through there once and got honked at. We had a luittle talk that evening when she got home.
