They’re going in the portal because they’re basically being cut by the team

They are on now. Scholarships are year to year, if you’re guy #85 and they don’t want you on the team in favor of someone else, they will probably yank it. It’s going to be the equivalent of cut down day in the nfl. So the kids need to get the jump on others by jumping into the portal right away
