The MAC makes sense for WKU particularly if Buffalo decided to leave

the conference. A MAC minus Buffalo could look like this:

East: 6 OH schools
West: 3 MI schools, Ball St, N. Illinois, and WKU

If Buffalo wants to remain in the MAC, then it could be interesting to see who the MAC pursues for the 14th member. I am assuming it would be someone from the East Division since WKU would likely join the West Division and the MAC may want to add a PA school to bridge the gap with Buffalo.
