Very small study 77 + contradicted by larger study in Israel and elsewhere

The main takeaway from the studies was that the protection against severe Covid and death remains mostly intact over time. I recall that it drops from 94 percent to 80 percent after 8 months. That disputes another point of the anti-vaxxers that vaccines don't protect people because they wear off. The protection against reinfection though drops sharply for those above 60 years old, probably because older people have about half as much bone marrow as the young.

The protection against reinfection depends on age and severity of the disease.
