Evans talent


I'm a '64 grad and over the years, I have seen a few VT Quarterbacks. Some were not even good college Quarterbacks and some were pro material (Don Strock, Michael Vick, Tyrod Taylor). Most were somewhere in between, i.e., above average college QB's, but not pro (Logan Thomas, Bryan Randall, Bob Schweickert) and yes, I know Logan Thomas made it but not at QB. Trust me on this one. Bob Schweickert was one of the most electric players I ever saw and if he didn't make it, there's no way Evans ever would. He's not he first I've seen whose ego exceeded his ability so although I'm sure he's a fine young man, clearly, realistic self assessment is not his strongest point.
