And Evans ability to throw - can't remember his ability to cycle progression - playbook and such could change.

I think with him leaving, that's what pushed Ford and Hodges out early as well - figuring another new QB isn't going to help their stats either.

With those 3 back probable we win more than 9 is 2017. Also allows some development time for Jackson and the recievers. Perhaps changes program trajectory as a whole. Similar concepts have been discussed at various position groups.

I'm not blaming any of them for making a decision, just stating things could have rolled differently.

All that said - his perspective is from year 1 of a program. The idea that everything from 2016 is true years later seems unlikely. From offense adjustments to locker room pre game, etc.
