in my professional life. My original contract was with the federal DOI bureau involved in the Deepwater Horizon incident. As a result of the incident, the agency decided to change its name because the old name had become too toxic. The irony is that the same people were still in charge under the new name. About a year or two later, it was decided to split the bureau into 2 bureaus which makes sense from a separation of church and state perspective. Now all these years later there was talk about the possibly of recombining the 2 bureaus back into 1 bureau. The re-organization didn't really impact my job too much because my job is in a department that is shared services by both bureaus.
