I envision 2 conferences of 4 divisions of 6-7 schools.

Divisions will be regional and almost mini-conference like. Regional divisions will maintain rivalries and regional interest. Division winners make 4 school conference playoff. The 2 conference winners play for the national championship.

I think those not included in these two conferences will have their own playoff and national championship a step above FCS, but a step below this new college football level.
