The outgoing F$U president indicated that he had talked to Clemson...


...about departing the ACC for a bigger payout. That makes me think they have already talked to the SEC about eventually going there.

It wasn't that many years ago when F$U and Clemson were talking about leaving the ACC for the Big-12. At least their "insiders" were talking about it...

FSU and Clemson (& ND) are looking for bigger payouts than are currently found in the ACC. VT needs to be a good conference member, but also look out for #1.
