The track record on these things is that a major shift happens and then everyone speculates about what comes next and nothing else ever does. A year later might be a smaller movement but the like an earthquake, all that is left is after are the tremors, nothing major.

The ACC GOR is doing a good job right now keeping its members from doing stupid things like leaving. The same thing is going on in the Big-12. Outside of Texas and Oklahoma none of them can afford the 80 million dollar buy out as it is currently estimated. It would take 7 of them leaving to break the conference and thus the GOR and that is not happening.

It will go to court, the buyout and time frame will be set at something shy of the total figure and Texas and Oklahoma will play one more year and be gone.

The SEC is not grabbing any one else. The Big Ten is not grabbing anyone else. The Pac-12 is not grabbing anyone else. These moves take time and planning. People saying they hear this or that are just pulling stuff out of their butt even those on the screen. These moves have never happened like that.

The CFP-12 is not going to be altered, it is too far along to change and everyone is better with more access not less.

It is over except for the jaw wagging and that is all that is going on and all that will go on.

The only thing that can happen quickly is for the Big-12 to invite BYU in, which they should do. They can then ask to talk to the AAC about Houston, Cincinnati and Memphis so those schools can being play in 2022 and start a CCG, which will generate some cash. Nothing else is going to happen. The ACC is just fine.
