About UVa and VT to the B1G and/or SEC.

I've had a bit of a theory that you have touched on here. Conventional wisdom seems to think that VT would go to the SEC and UVa to the B1G. And there's good reason to think this way. But you seem to suggest it could be the opposite. I think so too. I think UVa and UNC will go somewhere together. They actually have more to offer the SEC than VT (and I'll include NC State here too). The SEC could use some basketball pedigree and maybe a boost in academic reputation. The SEC DOESN'T need football competition. On the otherhand, VT might be better suited for B1G. They could use a little football help (especially with Maryland and Rutgers in the neighborhood). They don't need us to be great in basketball. And the B1G research oriented connections fit well with what Tech is doing and trying to do (AAU, BTAA/CIC, etc.). I would be fine with this.
