Its an option for ND

Its not the greatest option, but its an option, kind of a last ditch, fallback position.

(Would ND do that or capitulate to the conferences? Who knows for sure)

But, don't discount how much ND wants to stay independent.

That is a mistake that other fans have made for decades.

You think it is just "3 games".

ND thinks that it is its history, tradition, brand and identity.
