For the record, I think it would be a bad strategy on the B1G part.


It was just something I saw. I think just having a handful of teams far removed from the footprint is ill-advised. Maybe some sort of federation, a quasi-merger with the Pac12 might be more appropriate.

Question: why do you think the ACC is off limits to the B1G?

And FWIW, I always thought the merger that made most sense was the BigXII and the Pac-12. It would have been an asset to the sport in a national sense. But this SEC cherry picking of the BigXII is bad for all parties outside the immediate transaction.
