Right off the top of my head, ESPN can run a simple test.

Create a show called something like "G5 Football Today", and run it every day for a half hour in the same time slot. (Don't make it once a week and don't move it around.) Use it to cover Group of 5 football and the stories within those conferences... And then see what the ratings are.

But no matter what the ratings are, keep doing it anyway, instead of rerunning College Football Live (or whatever they call it) multiple times day and talking about Alabama and Clemson and Ohio State over and over and over in rebroadcasts.
