My opinion of the play.

is I would like to hear the full detail explanation from the plate umpire because I do not see obstruction from Lawter or from the fielders approaching or rounding third. From what I see, the nearest obstruction MIGHT be the pitcher crossing the third base line to get in position to back up the plate on the throw home. The clarification by the announcers did not clear things up for me. I would also be interested to hear the explanation from Pete's perspective. Sure glad the game was not close enough for the call to have a consequential effect on the outcome of the game.
