would be pros for UT to the SEC. The biggest negative is A&M's position and whether the SEC would even want the Longhorns. They certainly do not need them for football or basketball. I am not sure Texas is a conference candidate anywhere other than where they reside presently. Their revenues are fine as is and NO OTHER conference will allow them to dictate conference operations like the Big 12. Texas, in a lot of ways, is the hot looking girl with a ton of baggage and so high maintenance that most would question whether the juice is worth the squeeze. Also, for the record I would take ND every day of the week and twice on Sunday versus Texas. ND, IMO, stands on principle while the best I can tell is the Longhorns largely stand on arrogance.
