I see below the possible ESPN pushing Texas towards ACC/SEC. I still find that crazy if ACC. Not that it could not happen but whom comes along? Btw, with new ESPN /SEC it looks to me SEC. If ACC how would this all play out? Texas schools form a separate Pod? Twenty teams? Would ESPN desire for few potential Acc schools to move or be cut loose? For example would behind the scenes a VT and NC State be asked to move to SEC ? With Texas going to Acc and that move many a state rival games between the two leagues.? Far fetched? Probably, but Texas in ACC twenty five years ago was also.


How does DR Sands see VT athletics? Currently many see him as not great supporter. Fair or not. Would he allow movement if it benefited VT? Would SEC move benefit VT?

But Texas to ACC is huge . Huge news. If it indeed took place. They bring few with them . I can not see a ACC with twenty teams. Nor 18. Would movement be ESPN desired for few current ACC teams?
