I have heard it was more a problem with the fittings vs the pipe


I have a rental with polybutylene lines but brass fittings. House was built in 83 and I have had it for 5 years. So far so good. Crossing fingers b/c now I jinxed myself.

I like the idea of a manifold system and will do that when I eventually replace the polybutylene.
