Didn't you watch the first "IT" the kid's bike protected him.

OK, I will admit there is a lot of cool stuff that has happened since I bought my last bike, disk breaks, slightly bigger tires - rolling resistance pretty much the same - for road bikes which kinda makes sense for guys like me over 200# and I really don't use the drops that much. etc. etc.
