Will that number reflect the possible indirect fatalities?

For example I talked to a friend of mine today. His wife is battling cancer again. She is scheduled to go to Houston in a couple weeks for part of her treatment. Do they go? Should an immune compromised person risk flying? And should they risk introducing the virus to an area with many other immune compromised people? What does this do to her treatment schedule and prognosis?
