You have to put that flu season in context


That specific year was abnormal. The CDC shows 61,000 deaths for that year due to a couple of factors. A different strain that is more severe. And a shortage of equipment like IV bags used to treat people. The infection and death numbers that year were about 40% higher than the average for the past decade.

Obviously these are still big numbers. The key is to understand that Coronavirus has he same potential but with less understanding on our part. Yes the potential is there for the numbers to get very high if we don’t take this seriously.
