the other countries that have seen the virus have not had the type of death rate from it. Also I would bet there are lots of cases that are not part of the statistics as they count in the stats those going for medical care and not those that never get care as they don't need it. It may be more contagious but for instance in S. Korea it is all centered around one wierd church and the big explosion of cases in Wuhan was right after they had some big party thing that like 120,000 people attended and it was a type of pot luck dinner event.
