The good thing for us, is most of the SEC coaches are entrenched &
doing a good job of keeping their program relevant and competitive. Only ones I see potentially coming open in the coming years would be 1) if Mississippi St with Vann Stuedeman wanted to part ways and I think Blacksburg compares favorable to Starkville and that would be kinda a lateral move. 2) if Jo Evans at Tx A&M either gets let go or pulls a Connie Clark from TX and resigns before they can fire her. 3) or if there is fire where there's smoke with Mike Smith at Ole Miss if they have to move on from him before they want to. Maybe Bev Smith at SC if it turns south quickly, but she's got them playing pretty well.
Plus it helps if you can finish 13th in a conference (not even make the conference tournament) and still make regionals. Easier to keep your job if you make regionals on a consistent basis.
