regarding pitchers is unfair, in my opinion. There are lots of teams with pitchers no where close to Angela that win against Top Ten teams. We also do not know, until given the opportunity, what those young ladies can do against Top Ten competition. Finally, a comparison of those young ladies to Angela, as well as the large majority of young ladies who have stepped in the circle all time in college softball, is going to be a very tough comparison. She largely owns the record book at VT and in the ACC, while being in a select group, Cat Osterman and Monica Abbott the most prominent, in the NCAA record book all nicely tied together by her performance against Team USA. She is in a class that it does not take very long to call the roll and not being close to her is not necessarily a knock on the talent of another young lady.
