It is amazing, isn't it?


Just got back from Charlotte and thought I would chime on Square Root's comment.

We are watching something special. This team is so business-like, but they have fun at the same time. One of the parents commented tonight on how much the ladies truly like each other and that they will always go the extra mile for each other. I think that's 100% true.

They get off the bus swinging the bats - in the 1st inning this year, they have outscored opponents 71-8. You read that right...71-8.

Coach Pete's comment after the game was "it wasn't pretty, but we'll take it." Think about that fotr another moment...the Hokies just beat an opponent 17-1 over two games, but "it wasn't pretty." He is setting a standard for this team where the sky is going to be the limit.

It is a fun time to be a fan of Virginia Tech softball.
