If Maryland's #1 Mission is to make more money in sports right now mission


accomplished.

A few problems with that:
* The University doesn't have making more money in sports as their #1 mission
* They have not been getting their full share and paid lost a hefty sum from the ACC to leave.
* The ACC is about to launch their channel and the difference made is going to shrink significantly
* Maryland's bell cow sport has been basketball and you can see how trying to compete in a sport that is not traditionally your sport can make you worst with fan support etc.
