I think the CLUE report only retains the information for only so many years


before it eventually drops off regardless whether the insurance is allowed to factor the claim in the premium or not. Then again, I haven't worked as an assistant underwriter (contractor) for a VA P&C company or Independent insurance agent in almost 15 years so things could have changed with the system. For HokieMacDaddy's case, you are right the CLUE report should show if the previous owner filed any claims or not. Maybe even any claims made by any owners prior to the previous owner (if there are any) since the CLUE report is ran based on the address/location.
